Luria Bertani HiVeg™ Agar, Miller, Granulated (Miller Luria Bertani HiVeg™ Agar, Granulated) is recommended for the cultivation and maintenance of recombinant strains of Escherichia coli meant for genetic and molecular studies. It may be used for routine cultivation and estimation of not particularly fastidious microorganisms. This medium is nutritionally rich for the growth of pure cultures of recombinant strains. This medium is prepared by replacing animal peptones with vegetable defined peptones to avoid BSE/TSE/GMO risk.
