Kohn Two Tube HiVeg™ Medium No.2 is used for identification of Enterobacteriaceae on the basis of sucrose and salicin fermentation, motility, hydrogen sulphide and indole production. This medium is prepared by replacing animal peptones with vegetable defined peptones to avoid BSE/TSE/GMO risk.
