Hiveg media used for the detection of Listeria species in food products. It provides optimum conditions for the growth of Listeria. This medium is recommended by ISO for primary and secondary enrichment of Listeria species. This medium is prepared by replacing animal peptones with vegetable defined peptones to avoid BSE/TSE/GMO risk.
