WL Differential HiVeg™ Broth for selective isolation and enumeration of bacteria encountered in breweries and industrial fermentations containing mixed flora of yeast and bacteria. Bakers yeast counts can be carried out in this medium at a pH 5.5. By adjusting the pH to 6.5, the medium can be used for obtaining counts of Baker and distillers yeast. WL Differential HiVeg™ Broth is prepared by using vegetable peptones in place of animal based peptones which make the media free of BSE/TSE risks.
